Factory acceptance tests (FAT) are carried out in order to confirm the compliance of product characteristics with customer requirements or standards.
Typically there are following steps to complete during the FAT:
- completeness check against drawings and specifications,
- documentation check,
- functional test,
- final inspection,
- FAT report.
